The Classic Trilogy

I encourage EVERYONE who cares about the theatrical version of the Star Wars Original Trilogy to REFUSE TO BUY THE SPECIAL EDITION DVD SERIES! Whining and complaining will do nothing. IT'S YOUR HARD EARNED CASH! Lucas created the Star Wars trilogy, but we are the ones who made it a classic by spending OUR money watching these films! Why spend money on something you don't agree with? BOYCOTT THE SPECIAL EDITION DVD!

I refuse to buy the Special Edition DVD's of the Trilogy. George Lucas will not original theatrical version on DVD unless people refuse to purchase the Special Edition. I can't believe the number of people who are appalled at the fact that only the Special Edition is being released on DVD, and yet they say "I'll still buy it though." Let's face it. Money talks. Lucas stands by his artistic vision, but if the Special Edition does not sell a satisfactory amount of units, the Classic Trilogy will be released. Look at the New Coke phase of the Eighties. Sales plummetted and the Coca~Cola corporation responded to customer's demand. That's simply how business operates. To summarize: IF YOU PURCHASE THE SPECIAL EDITION DVD, SAY GOODBYE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF THE RELEASE OF THE THEATRICAL VERSION. The theatrical version is available by bootleggers who are making their own DVD's and selling them on Ebay. I encourage people to go there and browse, as that's the only way I will purchase the original trilogy on DVD.
